Clinical findings

  • Small ureteroceles don’t cause any symptoms.
  • Larger ureteroceles can cause a variety of symptoms:
    - Recurrent urinary tract infections
    - Hematuria
    - Incontinence
    - Dysuria
    - Sudden onset of frequent urination
    - Difficulty urinating
    - Abdominal/pelvic pain
    - Prolapse of an ectopic ureterocele presenting as a vaginal mass in females
