Clinical findings

  • Abdominal distension due to enlarged over-distended bladder or urinary ascites
  • Difficulty with voiding, weak urinary stream
  • Voiding dysfunctions are due to bladder dysfunction:
    - bladder atony
    - bladder instability
    - poor bladder compliance caused by thickening of the bladder wall
    - inability to store normal urine volumes
